How alerts work

Plan: Available on every plan (Free, Pro, Expert)Open this page in Bidtify ↗

Bidtify alerts are driven by the alert areas you draw on the map. When the Legal Execution Department announces a new case inside one of your areas, Bidtify tells you. How fast, and through which channels, depends on your plan.

What happens between a new listing and an alert?

Section titled “What happens between a new listing and an alert?”
  1. You draw an area, a circle, rectangle or freeform shape on the map, and name it. See Draw alert areas.
  2. Bidtify collects new listings from the Legal Execution Department in scheduled runs and works out each case’s coordinates.
  3. Bidtify matches new cases that fall inside your areas. On Expert, if you set conditions, only cases that meet them count. See Per-area alert conditions.
  4. Bidtify alerts you according to your plan.

No. Bidtify collects listings from the Legal Execution Department once a day, starting in the early evening and running into the night. “Same-night” means Pro and Expert users are alerted as soon as the system finds a new case during that run. Free users get a combined summary in the app the next morning at around 8 a.m.

If several areas get new cases at once, how many emails do I get?

Section titled “If several areas get new cases at once, how many emails do I get?”

New cases from all your areas found in the same run are combined into a single email, so your inbox isn’t flooded. In the app and on LINE, alerts are listed per area.

  • The area’s alerts are turned off. Check My areas on the map.
  • There are no new cases in the area yet (a very small area may go a long time without one).
  • New cases don’t meet the conditions you set (Expert).
  • The case has no coordinates yet, so the system can’t tell which area it’s in.
  • The email went to spam, or LINE isn’t connected yet. See Alert channels and the bell.
